Dr. Saari at the University of Western Ontario

Dr. Saari since he graduated has remained affiliated with the University of Western Ontario. Initially, he worked in the Emergency Dental Department and later in the main clinic supervising third and fourth dental students.

Due to his interest in seniors, he developed a Geriatric Dental Course which is now taught to third and fourth year dental students. Based on his own personal experience and numerous continuing education courses that he has taken in this area, the University now offers a course in how to deal with specific dental and medical problems related to treating the elderly patient.
